PhotoCraft is a native image-editing application rebuilt from scratch in Rust under the Apache-2.0 licence, with layers, masks, adjustment layers, layer styles, type, vectors, brushes and real PSD file support. It lives in the Rust desktop-app ecosystem and renders through a GPU compositor built on wgpu, targeting Metal, Vulkan, DX12 and WebGPU rather than shipping an Electron shell or a web view. The interface is deliberately modelled on the product it replaces: menus, panels, panels, panels and shortcuts sit where a Photoshop user's hands expect them, from ⌘J to ⇧⌘D.
